I want to be able to truly express my feelings. Not the feelings that I think I should be feeling, but the feelings that I am actually feeling. This will help me to get more in touch with my authentic self. I do not want to undermine any feelings that I have and write them off as silly or whatnot. In this sense, my goal of telling the complete truth means telling the complete truth to myself about how I am feeling.

How I did it: Before I even met this guy I had been working on ways to develop more self worth/love. Setting and working on goals helped me to do this. Eventually I believed that I had self worth and so my self love grew. This allowed me to be open to creating more meaningful relationships. We started working out together in order to accomplish our own individual goals. We didn't really know each other, just knew we wanted to do this workout program. Ri… Read how I did it…
How I did it: For the past three weekends, I've come home to stay with/visit my family. We didn't do any extravagant things, just mostly stayed at home together. I didn't want them to rub off on me because I hated how they lived their lives. Coming back to visit has helped me get back to the basics, to the p… Read how I did it…
By learning more about who I am, and setting and accomplishing goals, I am steadily learning to love myself. This proportionately affects me ability to love others and to accept love. I am excited to get to know myself better so that I may love others more as well, and in turn, experience the joy love has to offer.
I went to the store a week ago and got:
chicken, brown rice, oatmeal, string cheese, peanut butter, apples, bananas, broccoli, and baby spinach
I ate 5 or 6 small meals a day.
I let myself indulge once a week.
Instead of doing the same old tired routine of running or doing the elliptical for 20 minutes, I decided to do some classes. I am now doing a Power Pump class 3 times a week that incorporates weightlifting with cardio.
Anything I’m tempted to give into bad food, I just focus on my goal and remind myself how much I really want to accomplish it.
