I got my first credit card. Paying it off every month in full, hopefully this will help too :)

I spent the past few hours learning and memorizing the Dvorak keyboard layout. I can type about 15 words per minute in Dvorak and am using it to type this message, but I think I may have found a better alternative called Colemak: http://colemak.com/
I really like their idea of putting the Backspace where the CAPS Lock button is. Also, only 17 keys are relocated in Colemak as opposed to 33 keys in Dvorak. Supposedly it is also slightly more efficient than Dvorak, with more hand alternation and more common keys being near you strongest fingers (index, middle, and ring fingers). Finally, Ctrl+C/V/Z/X can still be done with your left hand, leaving your right hand free for mouse use.

I’m on lesson #20 right now, and things are coming along well, I’ve been learning Dvorak for about 4-5 hours and I’m amazed at how easy it is to pick up so far.
