Update 3 years ago

I have been without shampoo for a while now. I switched to regular white vinegar instead of ACV, and found that I very much like the results. I also have added a cold rinse at the end of my shower, and since I don’t want to freeze in cold water, I bring a cup of cold water into the shower with me, and pour it just on my hair. I add a few drops of rosemary EO to the cold rinse and it leave my hair smelling quite nice.

Now I am considering henna. I’ve never done it before. I refuse to use chemical dyes, but I miss adding a little red every now and again, and with summer starting to fade, it seems like the right time.

Getting there... 3 years ago

I have been using baking soda and ACV for about a month now, and am mostly happy with the results. I think I am done with shampoo and never turning back, but I still have a few things to work out.

Nonetheless, I am very happy to be on this journey. Aside from the money I am saving in products, it just feels good!
