How I did it: I studied the motorcycle booklet from the DMZ. I drove the extra distance to a less frequented DMV, that was quick and friendly. I showed them my test results from my motorcycle class, that allowed me to bypass their driving exam. I took the written exam, and then had my fingerprint and photo taken. I showed up expecting a 12 mile obstacle mud run. Instead I got a 13.5 mile one. I finished in the top 23% and felt great. I have already signed up for next year’s Beast.
