How I did it: Planned it about 1 month in advance. The biggest part of backpacking is planning planning planning. Went to EMS to get necessities, drew up meal plans for each day, made sure my hiking shoes fit well. Wear double socks to avoid blisters, and pack light! Read how I did it…
