I met Daniel over a year ago and we talked about hair and not hair. he is really rad and a fellow baldy. he mentioned this site and I was half assed about it, not really putting much into it, although I’ve had AU since I was 5 or so-totally bald off and on since 7. it’s cool to see so many people with it, and i’d love to get together or talk more. i just gotta say, freeing youself from the wig, and enjoying or playing with the baldness is the best thing you can do. in this picture i have painted ona hairdo for my alter ego. the heck with other people’s weirdness. more people will appreciate that you are being honest and come on you owe it to yourself not to worry about if the wig slips or how scratchy and sweaty under there. especially th weather is so nice in seattle right now it is too nice to cover the head. you know what they say, God made a few good heads and the rest he covered with hair!
If anyone here wants support about how to lose the wig and feel good about it, please let me know. let’s stand together! I am happy to support where I can. Also, if you take off the wig, you are encouraging the next person to, too. there are many of us and heck, let’s stop hiding.
