...but my weight is still on track! I had a really naughty “off-day” on Saturday with my cousin & a bunch of his buddies: ribs, beer, Jager-bombs, Ketel One, chocolate cake. I went a little nuts! I laid very low on Sunday, and I’m back on track today. Gotta kick the gym time back into gear, too!

yes – it might be water weight… but I am SO excited! I am loving www.dailyplate.com for tracking my food & exercise, and today I am down a full pound to 141.5. Another 6.5 pounds to go before I book that trip to San Diego!

really enjoyed it! some things came back right away (warrior, triangle, spinal twists)... others defintiely didn’t (camel, cobra). I am so glad that I went & I’m looking forward to rebuilding my weak spots & getting more fit!

I have been tracking my food & exercise all week, and I felt great in yoga class last night… I felt thin & limber… but the scale hasn’t budged from 142.5 lbs. :-(

This website is such an EASY way to track your food & activity… which is really helping me stay within my calorie goals to lose some weight and get back down to that 130 pounds!

did some weights & some cardio each day… so now it seems my challenge is to get to the gym during the week, too. I’m going to try to get to at least one yoga class this week.

I started using www.dailyplate.com to combine tracking my food, water, exercise, & calorie battle… and I love it! I think this is really motivating & will help me reach my goal of getting back down to 130 pounds. When I reach 135, I am going to reward myself by booking a long-desired trip back to Sandy Eggo!

I hate it when they tell you that you’re so smart, sweet, & sexy… but that they opt to not date you because they have kids / issues / no time / etc.
If I’m so fricking wonderful, why does this keep happening?!?

I really was feeling pretty good all day at work, and I went to Whole Foods afterwards for more lemons, a tongue scraper, and some all-natural toothpaste & body wash (trying to minimize putting ANY toxins in/on my body). Went home, had another lemonade and started feeling pretty tired. Around 8pm a massive headache kicked in and I fell asleep in front of the TV. When I woke up, my head hurt waaay too much to go downstairs to make & drink senna tea, and I overslept for a possible SWF this morning. Woke up with same awful headache, so called it quits.
I do plan to try again next month after some more biz trips.
What I learned:
– lack of food is not the issue for me… probably lack of caffeine is my biggest issue
– make the senna tea stronger
– a little more salt in the SWF
– night of Day 1 / beginning of Day 2 might be the toughest for me, next try I will begin on a Friday so that I can sit home over a weekend & whimper my way through this part of it
Good luck to all the other MCers out there!!!

I was soooo worried about being able to work while doing the cleanse – but it seems to be no problem at all! I know that I’m not yet in full-cleanse-swing; I don’t really feel any differently. I will make tonight’s tea a little stronger & tomorrow’s SWF a little saltier to try to kick-start things.

well, I had the senna tea last night and a SWF this morning… and prepared myself mentally for the worst, but got nothing. has this happened to anyone else? I don’t even feel weird…

so… I’m back from my biz travel & I decided to move up my start date so that I can get 8 days of cleanse & 2 days of coming off the cleanse in before my cousin arrives for a visit. today I am trying to eat healthy, fresh veggies to hopefully help the process along beginning tomorrow!

well, I “ran” 25 minutes on Saturday & 35 minutes on Sunday… but it wasn’t really running, it was more 1/2 jog, 1/2 walk. Saturday was very tough, I felt like I was moving through molasses, but Sunday was definitely easier. I was out of town for biz for 2 days, so I took a break, but I intend to go out for a jog tomorrow morning… which might be tough because I am going to start my first master cleanse tomorrow!! I am hoping a gentle run will take my mind off the cleanse and help speed up the feeling-good part of it!

well – I’ve decided to do it! so, I went to Whole Foods and realized that I don’t know how much stuff I’m going to need. I’m not going to buy the lemons until I’m ready to start so that I can have the freshest possible, but how much sea salt & maple syrup do I need?
sea salt: 2 teaspoons per day x 10 days = 20 teaspoons = 200 grams = 8 ounces?
maple syrup: 2 tablespoons x 8 glasses per day x 10 days = 160 tablespoons = 80 ounces?!? (can that be right? I need 6 darn bottles of maple syrup?!?)
Help!

maybe I’ll be scared sh**less? LOL!
seriously – I’d like to do this to detox all the damn coffee I drink & other crud that slows my body, but I’m really scared of all the stories I see on it. I have a demanding job – will it affect my work? will it make me miserable? and how will I explain to my friends (& dates) that I can’t go out-to-eat with them?
so… I plan to order the book this week and start on Saturday, March 17 so I have the weekend to feel crappy (!) like everyone says. I hope I’ll be OK to work by Monday the 19th. any help & encouragement is appreciated!!!
