eat healthier
it feels so good 1 year ago

I feel much better since I started trying to eat healthier. I stay away from fried foods and try to eat more sandwiches, salads, and fruit. I’m also limiting my candy intake to once every few days (which is substantially less than what I was eating before).

I no longer have sugar cravings and I feel like I have more energy to do what I want (and need) to do. This is one of the most worthwhile goals I’ve achieved!


wake up when my alarm clock goes off

It’s a great feeling to be able to hear the alarm go off as soon as it begins, and get out of bed five minutes later. It has eliminated a lot of stress.

I set my phone alarm because I can change the ring tone however often I need to, so I don’t get used to it and start ignoring it. Also, it helps to go to bed early enough so that you’re getting at least 7 or 8 hours of sleep—hard to do in college. It’s all about time management!


watch all the Buffy episodes
incredible show! 2 years ago

Buffy is by far the best show I have ever had the privilege of watching. Watched all the episodes in a month… yes, I realize that’s a bit pathetic. But by golly, it was so worth it!

Everything is great about that show - the seeming lightheartedness, the metaphor of vampires, the funny and the heartbreaking, everything is perfect. My thanks go out to Joss Whedon for an amazing show - and Angel isn’t half bad either.

If you haven’t tried his other show, Firefly, you need to watch it too! It’s very interesting and very entertaining—and there are only about a dozen episodes.
