And, although there were some small bumps in the way-and we’re dealing with car insurance people still because we got in a small car accident in a parking garage on our honeymoon-we’re doing great!
Our budget was immensely small, but we were able to pull it off for under $2000 and it was a gorgeous wedding—boutique wedding dress, real flowers, potted plants in terra cotta vases as wedding gifts, and all.
—and 6 attendants each.
A large budget is completely overrated, if you know where to look-and don’t really care about pleasing certain people (like the family members who cringe at you because you don’t want it professionally photographed-who cares?).
Even if I had to start college again the morning after I got back from my honeymoon (we got back at 11:30 at night the night before last and I started yesterday morning), it was well worth it.
I am so thankful to have been able to do this!
