How I did it: I know it sounds weird, but maybe to others that bite their nails this will make sense. When trying to quit I always allowed myself to bite my thumbs and pointer fingers so if I had the urge I would attack those four fingers. As the other 6 started to grow and look cute I would satisfy my urge by simply rubbing the nails and feeling how cool it felt! As the rest of the nails looked better I wanted to bite the others less… Read how I did it…
I’ve been slightly discouraged lately. But I think its just holiday blues, as all parts of my life have been kinda crappy. The people around me who really know and love me think its the right choice for me and realize that I’ve gotta get out of the small town I live in. The other people around me, who think they know me but don’t really, are being very discouraging and telling me that they think its a bad choice and they are guaranteeing that I’ll be back sooner than I think. I’m trying not to pay attention but its wearing on me. I’m just tired. Working too much since my co-worker broke her wrist and I’ve had to cover all her shifts. Thats 6 days bartending in a row-enough to make anyone go a little crazy! Anywho, you can see now I’m rambling, so, adios…
just need to lose about 7 pounds and work on getting stronger. This is definitely a goal in site, just have to work at it and watch what I eat. Trying to take walks daily and get to yoga when I have time.
