For the past couple of months I have managed to walk to work most days. Last weekend the battery actually died on my car because I’ve hardly been using it! This is well worth doing. I’ve lost a bit of weight, feel more relaxed and arrive at work fresh to start the day. Even when it is raining I don’t mind the walk!

Chartered Financial Planner is a relatively new title that has only been available since February 2006.
To be awarded the Chartered Financial Planner status, an individual has to be able to demonstrate relevant experience, gain CII approved financial qualifications equivalent to first degree level, adherence to the CII’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, and a commitment to continuing professional development.
At 28 years old I think I may be one of the youngest people in the UK to obtain this Chartered title. It is good news for my business as well, as we can now apply for the corporate Chartered title
I’ve now written my second book and it will be published in December. The book is called Brilliant Investing (Prentice Hall, £12.99).
It is much harder to write a second book than I thought it would be. Writing the first book was an absolute breeze compared to this. I guess that must be down to ‘second album syndrome’ or something like that.
