I finally did it! I emailed my aunt, filled out the form and payed for my starter kit! I know I’m not officially a consultant yet, because I haven’t done anything else, but this goal was put in place so that I would remember to join. I’m betting on this one lasting, because I made my email with my future married name and not my name now. I won’t be married for another 8 months, so hopefully it works out. Wish me luck!

How I did it: I am a huge Harry Potter fan, and I was in no hurry to get into the Twilight mania. But, after the first movie was such a hit and I started seeing trailers for New Moon, I was intrigued and I wanted to know what it was all about. I felt that this is such an important part of our culture now that I should be a part of it. Same with the Harry Potter phenomenon, I couldn't NOT read it! After several friends also recommended that I read it, I… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I kept my eyes open for opportunities, which often came about through my fiance, who likes to take me to new places and show me new things! After a few months I realized it was something I did not have to push myself to do, since trying new things is something that I strive to do in my everyday life anyway. Once I realized that, I decided that I could check this goal off my list! Read how I did it…
How I did it: First I had to tell my mom to let me do the booking and look for a band myself. I had listened to the band that she wanted and it didn't really fit my taste. I wanted a motown feel, and she insisted that her band could play that music too. However, I did not feel comfortable with her choice. I went on gigmasters.com and researched the bands that they had listed for the area I live in. It took a while, but once I showed my favorites to my … Read how I did it…

I need to take advantage of this opportunity that I have some across. If I become a Mary Kay consultant before October 31st, it is only $50 for the start-up kit. Most people that know I was thinking about joining say that I should jump on this opportunity since I’ll be getting half off the normal start-up fee. It’s just been so long since I was thinking about doing this that I don’t know what I want to do anymore. I mean, it’s only $50 and it could be either a good or bad decision, but none that could actually hurt me that bad.
My aerobics teacher announced on Wednesday that we will be doing Yoga in class on Monday morning! I’m excited! I am also going to add one gym class a week to my calendar starting next week!
