How I did it: I was a member of my University's gym for the four years I attended and then suddenly I graduated and had no gym for a month. Since my wedding was a month away, I had plenty of motivation to do workout DVDs and strength exercises using just my body weight. I looked great, but once we were married and moved to an apartment with a crappy gym room, I lost that motivation. I finally convinced my husband to quit his membership at Lifetime and … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had just moved to Cincinnati and was looking for ways to get involved and meet people. One of my first ideas was to join an alumnae club. A lady that I know from home who is also a Pi Phi alum had encouraged me to look for the group in my area. I found the website and the email and sent them a message saying I'm new in the area and a recent graduate and alum from Pi Phi. They sent me an email back with information about the next couple … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had an example from a friend that I used as a guide and outline for what I wanted to do. When I have something to aspire to, it helps me make better designs. I received an early Christmas present from hubby last week… a brand new Macbook Pro! I’m so excited! Now I can use my earnings to invest back in my side business! The best Christmas present ever :D
It’s been over a year since I posted in this goal (or any goal for that matter). I have a new blog name and domain – It’s now called Creative Seeker at http://www.creativeseeker.com. I’ve been working on the web design for the past few months, and I am pleased with how it has turned out so far. I took a writing break, then successfully posted for two weeks in a row, but I seem to have hit a road block this week and last week. I have several in-progress posts that I can’t seem to finish. I need to sit down and finish whatever it is, be it the draft or the accompanying photos. Once that happens I will be able to schedule 3 simultaneous posts and be good for a couple weeks. If I can plan to work on it Thursday night and nothing else, I can probably still get a post published for this week. I’ll update again soon :)
