I’ve never danced so hard in my life. The Killers rocked our socks. They got even better from their last concert I saw in January.
They interacted w/audience, and during “All these things I’ve done” they got us to sing their famous line “I got soul, but I’m not a soldier” before they played the big, screaming chorus. It was like a quiet crescendo of anxiety until the audience couldn’t take it anymore and the fun finally burst!
Brandon asked the audience if they had ever been in love, and reminded boyfriends in the audience that Canadian girls are great—especially when their hair grazes over their shoulders.
Ronnie, the drummer was going to freak out. We couldn’t really see Mark, Brandon kept going back and forth to both sides of the stage, and we had Dave on our side of the stage.
And their last show was also to support Day & Age but they managed to change up the song order and set, to make the show totally different.
They opened with “Human” and finished with “When You Were Young.”
Floor tickets were the best!!! It was a cold night but I ended up sweaty and gross but it was sooo worth it.
Favourite moment: Surprise cover of “Please don’t let me be misunderstood” by the Animals, along with Wolfmother, the opening act. Getting covered in confetti was fun too!
Setlist: all the goodies. I mean all of them, from Somebody Told Me, to Spaceman
At the end, Ronnie threw his drumstick right at me, and it was coming toward my head. As I reached up to grab it, I got knocked over by two huge dudes who ended up punching each other for it. I’m sure security broke it up as we ran away to avoid getting killed by their fighting.
