Today I taught someone two significant things, you know who you are, :), but I’m not sure if they together qualify as THE significant thing so I’ll wait until I’m sure… No offense to my student. :) I guess not everyone learns the ten finger trick for their nine times tables in school like I thought… and I have just taken for granted all these years my ability to properly pronounce “parallel”... just don’t ask me to say “raconteur”.

How I did it: The most practical reason for keeping a list of the books you've read or own is so that you don't buy them again, or if you just want to feel really impressed with yourself... Although, those both fit my book list, that is not how it came about...When I was in college my family was planning a move and they said I had too many books to fit on the moving truck and I wouldn't notice if a box or two were left behind or "fell off the truck."&n… Read how I did it…
How I did it: http://www.therainbowriver.com/We chose the two hour tour, and gathered a group of about 15 people. You pay per carload to enter the park and then per person for the tube rental and tram up river. Read how I did it…
How I did it: On our vacation to Bermuda my friends wanted to take a horseback ride on the beach. I am not much of a horse person but I am always open to new experiences. It was worth it. The guide was very knowledgeable and just a few small instructions can have you piloting a trail horse over hills, across busy streets, through overgrown trails, down on the beach and back. I’m going in January to Couzumel, Isla Routon, Belize and Costa Maya. So excited. A relative called me two nights ago to say they had a free spot that was nonrefundable and all I needed was spending money for the ports! Such a sweet deal! I’m SO excited.
It was so beautiful I wanted to stay there forever. It was more beautiful than Oahu, with more flowers. There are no billboards and fast food restuarants ruining the atmosphere. It was just perfect and close to the east coast. A great little vacation with beaches and European history. For Americans, particularly people living in less expensive states (like Florida) the food was expansive but I found everything else, particularly the excursions were very affordable. The only downside for someone staying on the island was the in-and-out-flux of swarms of cruise ship passengers.
