A lot more straightforward than I thought it would be. I’m by no means a pro, but can set it up and get what I want done, done. So far have made a skirt and some undies. Toying with the idea of another skirt at the moment :)

How I did it
How I did it: I guess worked hard throughout my degree, and kept track of the numbers? Having a decent average in second and thrid year helped my final year be more relaxed. Degree is MEng Mechanical Engineering. Read how I did it…

Kitted this Christmas. Chunky wool on size 10 needles, made up the pattern myself and it only took me a week ^^ It’s big and baggy and red and I love it.
I would recommend using a pattern to others who want to do this, unless you want to go for the ‘oversized hobo’ look like I did :) Knitty (http://knitty.com/archive.html) has some very pretty free patterns online. A pattern helps when coming to do things like the neck and sewing it up too – my mum helped me figure those out.
