The real challenge of being an individual is to ignore all the social pressures to conform. Be yourself, and you will be the better for it. However, that doesn’t mean being isolated from other people – express your uniqueness at every chance you get. Make people appreciate the unique you.

How I did it: I forced myself to sit and play. If I got distracted, I let myself have a break and then went back to playing after 5-10 minutes. If you want your practice to be more efficient, don't play the same piece over and over again. Instead, take one measure and play it a couple of times. Do the same thing with all of the measures, concentrating on the ones you have trouble with, and when you got it all polished play the whole piece again a coupl… Read how I did it…
I need to go back to Russia because my grandmother is there. I want to have a very special conversation with her one-on-one. She is pretty old now, and I’m afraid that she would die before I get to see her. My parents keep delaying the trip to Russia, and I’m beginning to get more and more anxious…
I’ve started writing a fiction book one year ago. Wrote two chapters, but then abandoned it because I thought my laptop broke and the book was gone with it, too. I got my laptop working and retrieved the book, so it’s time to continue writing it…
