I was homeless for about three months. I lived in an abandoned building with a bunch of gutter punks. I have a soft spot for gutterpunks to this day. It’s one of the reasons I enjoy Detroit so much. It has an amazing punk scene.

Move back to New Orleans
My plan to move back to NOLA 23 months ago

I miss living in New Orleans terribly. The only thing that really keeps me here in Detroit is my father and wanting to be close to him. But it’s time that I did things that made me happy.
