Thanks to the help of my mountaineer friend, four out of the five in our group made it to the top on August 5. After a grueling, cold hike up the Emmons glacier route, the top was sunny and warm. I guess typically it is pretty miserable up top, but the weather was perfect for us. There were even a few people napping up there!
