How I did it: My Jonas Brothers story is kinda cool so I figured I'd share it with you guys.I read online that they were having a free show in Hollywood and I happened to be on my way to LA for a college tour. How I did it: It was an assignment for art class to draw a black and white portrait of someone. I do consider myself an artist but I've never been one to be very good at drawing realistically. But for the class we were supposed to use a grid to duplicate the photo so that made it TONS easier. Definitely a cool way to get proportions right and that kind of thing. How I did it: Well a friend of mine told me how she was getting jobs in the entertainment industry from Craigslist and suggested that I check it out. I scrolled through all the listings for a good 3 days until I came across people looking for talent that matched me :] I updated my resume, went and took some headshots real quick in my backyard, and sent them in. I only did it for about 6 months, but it was a surprisingly good workout! Definitely an interesting sport to try.
It’s so worth it! Even if you’re not any kind of graphically artistic person, it really helps to touch up pictures you want to share with people.
