Stephanie’s latest adventure involves her missing ex-husband and everyone thinking she’s the prime suspect in the case. With her cop boyfriend acting shady, she turns to Ranger to help her find her ex before she’s carted off to jail. Ranger and Joe’s rivaly seems to fade in this book. They pass Steph back and forth like a problem child instead of a macho tug-of-war game of her heart that they usually play. I didn’t feel the same “oh my gosh” I did with all the other books involving Stephanie’s love triangle. But it seems that Steph is finally catching onto the bounty hunting business and has become more self-effcient. I like how the author managed that. Oh, and we finally learn Tank’s real name – Pierre! :)

Week one is finished and I’ve learned some things about myself. I’ve known that I have an eating disorder but now I think I’m starting to notice a pattern. I also found that my crazy work schedule might be to blame for my crazy habits. I’ve been writing everything down, plus calorie intake, and then make notes at the bottom like “bad day at work”, “went out to eat”, “purged”, “felt guilty”, “didn’t feel guilty”. I’m finding this to be very helpful.
I really lost all desire to complete this and this sabotages my “Get over my ex” goal. I don’t even talk to him anymore and he never appreciated anything I’ve done for him. But I made a promise and unlike “him” I keep them. What do you send an ex boyfriend in Iraq??
