Being vegan 13 months ago

I’ve been vegan for a year now, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I started cooking for myself, and now I am able to make amazing food from scratch. My groceries cost way less. I now form my diet around fresh produce and whole grains, and I feel much healthier. And of course there’s the pride and peace of mind that comes from knowing no animals were harmed for my food.
