I’ve been doing pretty well about not biting my nails, but they’re still short. They get long, and they snag and I want to bite them, so I keep cutting them really short. It looks just as terrible, though.
When I’m nervous, though, I bite my nails – even when they’re short.

After a hiatus from Pokémon, where I went off to do bigger and better things, I have returned to it. I did beat Red, the final boss in Pokémon Silver, but I purposefully did not save, so that I can always do it again if I want to. It was a lot easier than I expected.
On the flip side, I’m having a hell of a time beating the Elite Four in Fire Red. My Pikachu and Charmander have no special defense, making them almost useless. At most, they get one, maybe two strikes in, even against Pokémon types they have a resistance to. So, I’m running around, training them like crazy.
I also wasn’t expecting Victory Road. I thought it was just that series of checkpoints, because it wasn’t like that in Pokémon Silver, as I remember, and I never played Red/Blue/Yellow.
I had two boxes of papers and misc. junk in the dining room, not to mention my piles of papers on the table. It was really starting to get to me, but I just couldn’t get myself to go through it all. At least, not until my friend and I decided to have a little party of sorts at my place. One of the people coming has never been to my house, so I decided to clean it out, and my friend helped.
So, the dining room is now rid of my stuff, but one of the boxes is in my room (where the party goers will not be, mind) until I get around to cleaning it out again.
It’s like a never ending cycle of messiness and order. I’ve got the “get organized” part down, it’s just the “stay that way” that continues to be a problem.
