I met him after a concert in MN this winter – he was really nice and actually seemed rather shy. The rest of the band is fantastic too. I’d almost say it’s worth it to meet them all just to hear the amazing Lebanese-French, Scottish, and British accents. : )

I started learning Danish about 7 months ago, and I really enjoy it. I’ve picked it up rather quickly, but now my plans for studying there fell through. My first thought was just disappointment that I didn’t have a reason to continue studying it, but I want to keep going with it regardless – maybe I can visit for a weekend next year and put it to the test. I just worry that it will get pushed aside for more immediate things, and I won’t get much further.
I’ve been meaning to do this for ages, but I’m never serious about it. I’ll go in spurts of exercising every day and eating super-healthy, then two weeks later I’m back to normal. But I want to feel good and look better when I go abroad next year – the last thing I want to worry about there is covering anything up or not being able to keep up on hikes. So I’ve 3 months – I don’t care how much I lose, I just want to feel in shape and good about myself.
