I had to get gas this morning, and forgot to bring my envelope along! So then I had to get cash out of other envelopes to pay for it and add the money back in after I got home.

Also, I had to think about how much I wanted to spend. Since gas was $2.75/gallon this morning, and I was close to empty, I made it easy and just bought ten gallons-$27.50-and rounded it up to $28.00. And of course I had to go in and pay the attendant. No more swiping! But I was forced to think about how much I was spending, which is part of why I am budgeting in the first place. :)

I basically cleared all the crap off my coffee table and it looks a lot nicer! The criteria for completion is continuing to keep it cleared off, and use the bookshlves I have for their intended purpose.
