I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve updated 43 Things… a mark of which is that I achieved this goal about ten months ago! His name is Chester. He’s an ADORABLE Chihuahua-mix that came from a local animal rescue. He’s fairly mellow (rarely barks) and kind of a mama’s-boy (doesn’t socialize a lot at the dog park) but his sweet disposition and cute furry face have really changed our lives for the better.

streamline my lifehacks (read all 2 entries…)

I’ve been using Netvibes for about a week now. It allows me to keep all of my feeds and bookmarks in one place. If I continue to move things over and use Netvibes as the portal through which I keep track of everything (except email, because I don’t like browsing through their widget), it will REALLY help the streamlining thing.

finish making that bag (read all 3 entries…)

I didn’t finish it until March, but again, it was for me so there was very little need to rush through it. I could not be happier with how it turned out! I’ve gotten so many comments on it, which is all I ever really ask for with a craft project—to be able to say “I made this!”

I use it every day. It’s quite sturdy, but I do wish it were a little bigger. I need to reinforce the straps a little better at some point, but they’ll hold well enough for what I usually carry. I spilled in it the first week I used it, and it washed clean like a champ!
