I took a job that required wearing heels everyday and involved a lot of walking. Up stairs, through parking lots, long, long hallways… it was a painful initiation. The only way you learn is to wear them as often as possible until you can walk briskly in them without falling. They’re like riding a bike—once you perfect it, you never forget it. And once you can wear them, let me tell you, you will look like a million dollars. Shoes make the outfit dressed up and put together, even with just jeans and a tank top. So get those pumps out of the closet and wear them to Wal-Mart next time you go. Before you know it, you’ll be looking like a runway model in Milan.

I’m motivated. I’m focused. I’m confident. This will be the semester that increases my GPA, and proves that I am a good student. My goal is to bring my 3.4 to a 3.5 and keep it at least that before graduation. I think the key is to READ. Read all the assigned chapeters on the day they are assigned. And studying the 3 days before the exam would absolutely be better that just cramming the night before. It’s time to make it happen.
