I just got this done professionally yesterday. It looks very good, although I still have to give it a few washes to get the blue to stand out a lot more, which I’ll do tonight.

How I did it: In a car. It took 2 days driving across the state and ending up in Idaho, then driving back the next day. Just the spontaneity of the whole experience is what made it fun. I can't even remember if we stopped by home to pack. Read how I did it…
So far I took an RC vehicle and completely replaced the components inside in a modular fashion so I could get a main controller board to control it all. I have a 6-channel aircraft remote that controls it currently and an arduino diecimila that I’m using for a main board. I’m also building a custom interface board to read the channels from the receiver and communicate the values to the arduino via I2C. For the most part I have everything necessary, I just need to get it all fashioned together.
I’ve actually built robots before (including a robotic arm that I designed and built in high school), but this will be my most advanced robot yet.
Well, I’ve had the violin for almost 2 months now. The teacher I had signed up with for lessons canceled on me 3 times, so I switched teachers and have had 4 lessons so far. My teacher said they had never had an adult beginner advance as quickly as I have. So far I love playing the violin and can’t seem to get enough. In fact, I would say I have a passion for playing it. I’ve also been going over music theory and am almost done with the second year (intermediate) book, which I’ve found quite easy so far. At the moment, I’m in the middle of learning the theme songs from Schindler’s list.
