Going for a more specific goal

I moved away from the snow :( —Good move, Sad about the snow.

And, more importantly, I need to get in much better shape before going snowshoeing again. Don’t want to blow out the knees.

Very worth-while goal! I have learned the basics, more than the basics actually. But this is not a goal that stops. I strongly believe my chakra work along with my career work got me to my dream job.

Now. To get back to the strong focus it put on chakras during my quest phase. I hope to do this work regularly, maximize the work I’ve done/the new job I have, and apply it to all areas of my life.

I’ve been reading and learning about TCM (traditional chinese medicine) for about a year. Homeopathy doesn’t make as much sense TO ME as TCM does. So, I’m letting this one go. In fact I’d forgotten I made this goal. LOL

Maximize my opportunity / career as a Collection Development Librarian

Initially, this just meant become a coll dev l’n.
Now, it means kick ass at this job and become a Coll Dev Goddess!

A few months ago I achieved this goal. Through years (especially 2007) of hard work, introspection, a few intense conversations with God, and lots of chakra/energy work. And lots of Collection Development work and very diverse library work.

Two big opportunities were delivered: a nice healthy grant & a new job. Collection Development Librarian! I’m so thrilled!!

Now to maximize this opportunity… I’m hoping to learn a ton, innovate, listen-listen-listen, improve current work systems & influence perceptions of what we can be, increase access to materials for ALL folks in our community, and put myself out there. I’m so thrilled!!
