So I keep trying to give blood, but I guess I’m anemic because all three times I didn’t have enough iron or whatever. =(

Helps you lose weight too! If you can’t remember, just buy water bottles and leave them everywhere. It can get expensive, so you can just keep refilling them. I buy those big 1 liter bottles and fill them up and take them wherever I go. It becomes routine.
Don’t look for a quick fix. Lower your calorie intake and up the exercise, lose 1-2 lbs a week. If you don’t see more weight coming off, keep going. Sometimes it takes a while. I wasn’t intending to lose 20 lbs, i just wanted around 10 lbs off. After a while I got used to the way I was eating, so more weight came off. After 15 lbs, I was amazed. Now, I lose about half a pound every 1-2 weeks without thinking about it. After a few months it adds up. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you have to change your lifestyle. You can’t expect to starve yourself for a month, lose 20 lbs, then go back to eating two boxes of pizza a day, wondering what happened to your waistline. Don’t worry about carbs/fat/protein, as long as you burn more calories than you consume. If you’re craving something, eat it. Just make sure you eat a small portion and you count the calories. Something that helped me a lot was drinking 8 glasses of water every day. After drinking that much liquid it’s very hard to even think about putting anything else in your stomach. I hope this helps!
