I went to see Dave Matthews in Birmingham, England last Saturday. He did a short UK tour and only stopped by in London, Birmingham and Manchester. I was so psyched before the show coz I know that the band hadn’t done a UK tour for almost a decade now.

It was him playing acoustic minus the band on the stage and the tracks were those from Some Devil and a lot from the band’s old albums. I was beyond happy.

The highlights of the gig were when the crowd went into chorus singing Everyday (there were many Americans at the gig and I was very sceptical about the English liking DMB), and of course, when Dave ended the evening with Crash Into Me.

i’m glad that i got hooked to this series. i bought the pirated dvds on ebay earlier this year with its first 17 episodes just because i was intrigued with the description that the seller wrote. i’m a big fan of samurai x and saiyuki and somehow i imagined bleach would be similar. it turned out that bleach was actually more AWESOME!

i think the latest episode is 59, or is it 60? whichever. but the point is i don’t want it to end yet.

next to my mother tongue (indonesian), i speak english quite fluently especially now that i live in the UK.

i was able to speak french when i was 6 coz my family used to live in france for about a year. we went back to our home country and my french just evaporated coz i didn’t practise at all. then in uni years i took up a french course to jog my memory and my french language skills but it didn’t work out well coz i didn’t get a native speaker instructor.

i kinda gave up french (LOL), but now i’m into japanese. i’m planning to learn the language complete with the kanji and actually visiting the country. watching anime and japanese movies plus going out with an american-japanese guy (well, used to…) already thought me a bit about some informal (and rude) japanese! (LOL)

last but not least, spanish! yup, that’s another one to master. i don’t know exactly why but i really want to learn spanish.

i don’t think i’m too ambitious. i know i’m just too lazy sometimes…
