i want to be able to eat a meal and not have my brain racing a thousand miles an hour about how i can get rid of it, or how much time i have alone so i can stuff my face and go purge. i feel like i do better and feel pretty good about it all, and then its like im right back where i started.
i try to breathe and feel safe and know that this isn’t ME. but some days its so hard.
i’m excited to be good. you know?
this is a very, very helpful book to read as it speaks to so many people’s insecurities, even if you aren’t spiritual or think all this books are new age crap, there is a lot of validity to the concepts. i personally don’t think the writing of it is superb, but it gets the job done and i keep the book in my purse and read it on the bus
