Untitled

This was probably less relaxing than I hoped it would be.

I decided I wanted to go to the shops after visiting the church yard in Wolstanton, Staffordshire. I knew the shops were on the other side of the church wall, if only I could get to them. I couldn’t find a gate, so I decided to climb over the wall.

There was a parishioner leaving flowers at one of the graves, and if she had turned around she would have seen a disheveled young woman, gracelessly clambering over a wall with one shoe hanging off.

Why do I do these things to myself?

I managed to take this picture, before I made my exit…

Finish my certificate exam
Finished!

I finished my Certificate in Astrological Studies on 23 September 2008. I began to study in September 2005 – it was only supposed to take 18 months, but life got in the way. It has a tendency to do that. I have to wait until the Winter Solstice to get my results, and I’m hoping to start the Diploma soon.

Peace and Quiet

I live in a busy urban area, where nothing seems old or sacred or peaceful. I’d really love to find a church yard in a village or town, and just sit quietly. It’s the kind of thing I would do as a teenager and I miss it.
