So far I’m at 27, which is—decent… but a bit behind, though I’ve been speeding up over the past month or so. I’ve tried to do this for the past couple of years and failed by a fair bit. But I still think it’s possible!!

How I did it: This November I finally hit the 50,000 word goal to win NaNoWriMo, during my first term at university. I would not have been able to do it without writeordie.com - it was a super super super useful tool for hitting the daily goal! I would definitely recommend trying to go over the goal EVERY day, for example, try to hit 2000 words a day instead of 1667, because inevitably there are a couple of days when you write nothing, which can really… Read how I did it…
How I did it: After I finished high school, I knew that a lot of things in my life were going to change. I had thought about being vegetarian for ages, so without really thinking about it, I just took the plunge. I read part of Becoming Vegetarian by Vesanto Melina and Brenda Davis. I added some fake meats to my diet, as well as things like nuts, and I began to cook a lot more. Read how I did it…
I would have to say that I do still buy things that I don’t need. Nobody needs DVDs, CDs, or that extra pair of pants. But I think that purchases like those are alright, as long as they are extremely limited, and you know you will use the items that you have bought!
