I went camping a month or so ago and it was awesome. Camping is so magical. I guess that sounds…I don’t know. Not real. But it’s true. There is something so incredible about being outside, just being there. There is something child like about camping. You are in this place with your friends, looking for sticks, poking a fire, cooking marshmallows and hot dogs…talking. Its so simplistic. And free. And easy. I guess that is where the magic comes in; why camping seems so magical: in this world in which we live, a chance for free and easy doesn’t come often. And seeing as how I live in Asheville, NC, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, I should get out and enjoy what the world has to offer me when I have the chance.

I kind of want to be one of those people who hugs people when they say hello and goodbye. I am not from a touchy feely family, but I really appreciate a good hug from a friend. Its just nice.
My clutter is out of control! Its a family thing…we have so much stuff for three people, its just stupid. And its all over the place too! We just moved, so it makes the clutter more apparent. I was really hoping to go through things as we packed but that of course didn’t happen. And then I was hoping to go through things as we unpacked. That still has a chance of happening, since we haven’t finished unpacking yet. But…where do you put the stuff you are going through? That is my newest problem. Where do you lay stuff out, and where do you stash it until you have enough of it to get rid of? I know I just need to start small, just a few minutes a day. It needs to be my relaxing time or something, or like mindful meditation.
