took long enough! 2 years ago

I finished this a while ago (still months after the deadline! oops) but then I got a letter from CA saying I owed $23 in interest from not paying on time!! It took me 2 months to write the check and then another 2 months to mail it. Geez… I just hope I don’t end up with another letter saying I owe more interest. Next year I’ll do it in February though since I won’t have the divorce drama going on!

Yay! It's over! 2 years ago

...and I even forgot about it the day it was finalized :-) (I had expected to be thinking about it all day long and crying endlessly… but I guess I had already done my share of that).

Good luck to everyone else going through such an involved process, and to everyone struggling with making the decision whether to stay or leave.
