ok well i am still here in israel. a little over 3 months? since the war came to a break. i spent half of the war in tsfat and the other half in other places in israel. i love this country. personally i think it is the only place for all jews to live, religous and non. it really doesnt make a difference i have lived here as both and there is definantly something special in the air and land here.

ok well this is really going to have absolutly nothing to do with learning to speak hebrew other than i wish mine was better so i can better understand the news.
a couple of days ago i left the katusha filled city of tsfat. desided that it was just a bit to nerve racking for me to be there when at least 3 times i was almost hit.
i dont know how many have actually fallen but i do know that at least 100 fall about everyday into the old city and surrounding waddies.
i am writing just to let everyone know that tsfat still stands and not everything has been destroyed and to say that israel will come out on top. as we learn from the torah everyone who goes against the land of israel always falls. this is true from the times of the torah until today.
thanks for letting me vent for two seconds.

spent 5 months on a kibbutz milking cows then learned real quick why my father told me to go work in the dairy and not in the kitchen. must say it was the best advise i ever took. people in the kitchen are just too wierd.

so the cheapest plane tickets i was able to find was from israir. they had a sale where the tickets were only $249+ tax each way. it is costing me about the same just to go to NY, how sad.

so for hannuka a friend of mine and myself made sufganiote (filled donuts). they were sooooo good, but we gave most (less the 2 we tasted to make sure they were edible) to the israelis working in the mall. it was so nice how greatful they were and to be able to put a smile on there faces.
