Unknown4: Everybody’s has. Everyone in the whole state. (Personally I think they were just trying to build up the suspense.) I thought that it would stop saying “Applicant” several days ago. But, with 15 minutes to midnight, I checked the last time. I got accepted! It was about my eighth time checking that day.
It’s weird. I didn’t even have that many ECs.

I dyed my hair black (not on purpose; it was supposed to be approximately my natural hair color, medium brown) after my blue hair had faded considerably.
I really like it, though.

Well, so far, so good. I’m really amazed I can think coherently enough to type this. It’s 4 hours after the surgery. I don’t even recall falling asleep. There was none of this “count backwards from ten” stuff. I had asked my sister to bring a pad and pen so I could write while incapacitated in the car. I don’t even remember getting into the car, but I knew somehow that we stopped at Chick-Fil-A, because that’s what I wrote when my sister asked me where we went. No idea how I knew that, because I can’t remember at all now. My jaw is still very much numb, but I’ve managed to drink an entire can of Coke.
They must have given me something different than what my sister took last year when hers were removed. My mother mentioned something about them giving me double the dose that she got, and I’ve still way more conscious than she was. Amanda (my sister) says I’m doing as well as she was on Day 3.
For a while, I still had the gauze in my mouth and I really wanted to talk so I used the Speech function on my PC to talk for me. Now the gauze is out, but I still talk funny. I’m a little tired also. I made Amanda take pictures of my with my mouth hanging open; I’ll post them later.
I’m still much less conscious than usual, but I can type this, so that’s a good start.
