I’ve tried sooo hard. But it turns out I’m not fit for it.
considering I’m a girl and all
Funny thing is, I love everything Tolkien has written/published – I accept The Silmarillion as my bible – but I can’t seem to put myself through The Hobbit. I can’t get passed the part where Gandalf tricks the trolls. And then I put it away for too long and have to start reading all over again just to know what the hell it was I’ve been reading and… it’s a vicious cycle.
Or rather, an offscreen researcher. With the course I’m taking now, it could happen in twenty years or so. I want to be fully prepared before I do anything like this.
