How I did it: Phoenix has some great qualities, but I personally do not see an overall benefit to living here. The main benefit is a fairly good economy where you can find a job. It may not be the job you want, but it will be a job. What I like least about Phoenix is the social scene. As with any major city, you have the feeling of anonymity many people from rural America enjoy and the exceptionally social individuals. However, t… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Just to give some advice, chewing melatonin--and perhaps placing it under your tongue--allows your body to absorb it better. This is a completely natural supplement you can get at any store. It causes you to become tired naturally. I went to the little fitness center in my apartment complex and just asked this dude very nicely if it was okay for me to play the boom box in the building. He was the only guy there and he had no problem with it. Then I met him by the mailbox, we hit it off really well, and decided to be workout buddies.
It’s not always easy to meet people in Phoenix, but I find that athletic people tend to be more social.
Once I frist graduated high school and started in college, I learned a lot about cultures around the world and how people find their identity. I realized that a lot of people find identity from the community and culture in which they live in. Consequently, I realized I didn’t have much of an identity.
Of course there is a uniquness to me, and I have many things which establish my identity. However, much of it I am alone in.
I started this goal to make more friends, with an objective in mind to find my own home and family of friends who can help me in finding-not only myself-but my place in the world.
