Thats right, this year this goal will be completed. Now that I have lovely, long summer holidays there is nothing stopping me. So far work has been the biggest hurdel to overcome, but thats not a problem anymore!

well, ive done the math, and this is about the time when I can say I’ve lived in japan for 3 years. And this being the longest run (19months so far) and i foresee another 2 years at least. What can i say, I love this country!
well, took level 3 last year, and my results came back today – Passed!
so, this december… level 2!
well, this kinda got disrupted by my big move and all the stuff that comes along with moving country, changing job and schedule…
but.. heres the current aim – get up everyday around 8 or 830.
I can do it if i get to sleep around midnight. the difficult part is its winter here and you kinda want to sleep in. and I’ve been sick and needing more sleep…
so, thats my aim for the next few weeks, get my sleeping schedule in order! huzzah!
well, so far I’ve been pretty good with the living instead of sleeping.. however Im sleeping in far more than I would prefer to… guess its something Im working on.. always
Yeah, I made it. I don’t think there was anything else I could have done before leaving..
but now that Im here I haven’t had a moment to even scratch myself…..
but I did pick up a pencil and paper the other day and drew a ‘werekitty’ for a friend. First time drawing in over a year. not a bad effort. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/39866494/
My local massage salon got this ‘migun’ massage bed, and let me tell you, it stretches me out! its a bit painful, but it actually targets the areas that my chiropractor said that I should work on.
I know it doesn’t replace me doing my own streches, but its a really great kick start back into it :)
Well, since I finised my shift work job things have greatly improved.
On Monday I got up at 9am, had a lot of difficulty falling alseep that night, but the next day I was up at 8am. Again I had difficulty going to sleep, but the next day I had to be up at 6am, so last night (wed nite) I feel alseep soon after turning my light out. Thats probably the first time I’ve fallen asleep before 1030 pm for months!
and today I woke around 620, but didn’t get up til 7am. I plan on making 7 am my usual wake up time, so lets see how well this goes over the next 2 weeks
yeah, I haven’t been to the gym in a long long time.
things have come up, and with getting ready to leave I haven’t really had the time. And yes, there is excuses that arn’t weak.
I suppose I’ll just have to give it a go in Japan. Ive checked and theres a flash gym at the station I work at. And Im sure there will be a city sponsored gym somewhere in the area. And my friend Xina is going to take me to her tennis classes every monday.
In the mean time I’ll try to get to the gym when I can, and if not, take walks, do streches and crunches at home :)
Well, a lot has happened in the last two weeks.
I’ve booked my flight, the company knows. My friend Im staying with is ready for me to come. Just have to pack my bags and buy some travel insurance and Im on my way.
There are a few more things I would like to buy – some winter stuff. Gym stuff. A new swimsuit… a small photo book. oh, a few new bras (i don’t think I’d have much luck finding my size in the land of midgets)... mmm, thats about all. I have plans to go to the factory outlets on the gold coast on monday so hopefully there’ll be some winter gear there.
I’ve got plans to catch up with mostly everyone I intended on catching up with. Oh, except Emma. Must look into that. But that will all take a little bit of arranging…. must email ppl next…
As for memberships and all that, everything is sorted, except my last lot of super to transfer and deciding if i want to vote while Im overseas. Thats a hard decision. I want to have a say, but its kinda rare for my say to be the majority…. so is it worth my voting???
All of my appointments are out of the way, except my last massage on tuesday morning. And then everything to do with doctors etc is done and done. oh, except, I have to get my money back from my private health….
Gee, the more I list done the more I remind myself to do….
but at least at this point in time, all the really important thing to do is pack and have fun!
well, things are improving in this goal. Becuase Im not working Im able to have more regular sleep hours, which means I dont tend to sleep in as much, and hence I do more during the days, which tires me out, and then I have a good sleep.
there certainly is room for improvement, lets wait to see how this goal works out living in Tokyo
I read this when I was much younger.. say around 12 years old, and I loved it at that time.
I certainly feel that most of the ‘classics’ are worth being read. But in saying that, we don’t actually have to enjoy them.
I decided to re-read it last month, and I really had to push myself to get through it. I just found it to be soooo long winded. So it wasn’t enjoyed as much as I had previously.
But even saying that, it is a good story.
Well, all my stuff for work is all sorted. All thats left for me to do is advise the company of my travel plans and where I will be met in Tokyo. Easy!
Today, today, today. Feels like I got quite a lot done. Well, of course there are my usual chores to do, but I also called up to set a date to cancel my mobile phone, called about my RACQ membership and now I just have to write them a letter saying I want to suspend it, made a doctors appointment, and made an appointment for my massage.
I really am getting close to the end of my list of things to do to be ready. There are a few things that have to wait until after the 15th, but they really won’t take much effort. Its just buying the last few things and packing that are going to take time….
I can do this! yes!
ah, but having some troubles selling my computer :(
Okay, been a very busy week….
I got my Visa back yesterday – and a very good photo I might add. so I just have to send a copy of that to sydney, and then all bar one bit of correspondance to that office is done.
I didnt end up putting my laptop in the weekend shopper yet. Some family issues came up and the time hasn’t quite been right. I will put it in so next saturday it will be in the paper.
ALL my ebay stuff has ended and been sent. Just waiting on feedback for two lots and really, that doesnt really matter all that much. I have something like 23 positive comments already!
Did I mention I went to the the Podiatrist? now I have lovely smooth feet :)
Bought some more clothes… but really, Im going to a country that will be in winter…. I really should buy winter clothes! I figure, in summer clothes Im on the look out for some shorts and a new bikini. The rest I should buy should be winter stuff, and since thats last seasons clothes, hello factory outlets.
I also wanna start at getting my super all in order, which means doing some research to find the best fund. Shouldnt take too long.
Next friday I need to cancel my gym membership, but I also want to ring up and find out if I need to give notice for my mobile and my health insurance.
And I should book an appointment at the dentists and doctors.
more things down, more things to do.
