I went to the tattoo shop and discussed it with one of the guys there. He couldn’t do what I had originally wanted, which I’d pretty much resigned myself to anyway. He gave me quite a few ideas and after thinking about them a while and doing a little bit of research online I think I’ve found a good cover for my bad tattoo. Yay! I’m going back on Thursday to get it done.

How I did it: I have been wanting to take ballroom dance lessons for a long time now (the latin dances just look so sexy) and I googled for places offering lessons in my area. I signed up for a 3-week long Tango class and after that I'll be doing Viennese Waltz and Rumba! It wasn't too expensive - $39 for 3 1.5 hour long lessons and the classes are fairly small so there's a lot of individual attention.I wanted to be totally committed so I even bought a… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I researched different religions online and read "about" pages of different churches in my area to see which ones looked like they might be a comfortable fit.I went to the Unitarian Universalist Church in Bellingham and after the first sermon I knew that it would be a great fit for me! Everyone was really welcoming and friendly too, which is a plus since I'm so shy around new people. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Working at a soap supply warehouse (brambleberry.com) definitely helps. I haven't yet attempted cold process or hot process (baby steps) but melt & pour is super fun and easy. All I had to do was buy the soap base, fragrance, colorant and a fragrance oil. Then while I watched Grey's Anatomy and Sex & The City DVD's I melted the base (you can use a microwave but since I don't have one I used a double boiler), added my ingredient… Read how I did it…

I finished! Everything from Ch. 1 to Ch. 22 is written. Now one last revision (to take place over the weekend) and I will be ready to put it out into the world!
I have two and a half chapters left in the first (well, 3rd draft of ch. 1-7, 1st/2nd of later chapters) draft, which I hope to finish by tomorrow. Then I’m taking a break for a week and I’ll start the revisions next weekend!
