i’ve always liked to write and express my thoughts. i used to blog heavily back in the days when i was in school, but since entering “adulthood” it’s harder w/little free time and always being tired. this year i started my own project 365, which keeps me posting at least 1 entry a day. so far so good. i really like it because it forces me to think about things happening around me and see what moments i want to capture into words. hopefully it will be a success and i’ll reach 365 posts for the year 2011. :)

How I did it: my dad found Lucky in one of the bushes on our front yard. he was about 2-3 days old, alone and abandoned by one of the feral cats we were taking care of. it was no question that we were going to take on the task of raising this little one, else he wouldn't survive. it was a lot of work. it gave me a taste of what it would be like to take care of a newborn infant (feedings every 4 hours, OMG!). it was a tough job, but it was worth it to h… Read how I did it…
How I did it: after graduating college, i was debating on whether i should enter my field of study or continue to work in the same environment i had been doing for past 6 years while attending school. luckily, a friend (& former classmate) in the field had inquired if i was interested in a position at his employment... it's been 9 months since i've started and i never imagined work to be so much fun! yes, there are the occasional bad days full of s… Read how I did it…
How I did it: after 9 long years (the first 4 as a full-time student, a 2 year hiatus, then the remaining 3 as a part-time student), i was able to graduate from SDSU in 2006. it took FOREVER, but was well worth it in the long run. Read how I did it…

it’s a vicious cycle. it’s clean and then gets dirty for months on end until i have spare time to clean it again. but recently, i did just clean my room, in a matter of 2 days! so i’m crossing this off my list!
i’ve been dieting, exercising, and trying to lose weight since i got engaged last april, and even thought it’s been a while, i’m pretty damn proud of myself for losing 10lbs! there’s another 5-10 (or move even) that i want to lose before my big day coming up at the end of this year, but i know w/hard work and motivation that it really can happen.
i lost 10lbs. hell yeah. go me.
