Get a new wardrobe
i think this is a bit materialistic 1 year ago

and i also know i could never get rid of everything i have no. its hard enough trying to give away the things i havn’t worn for 6months never mind my favourite stuff. So this goal gets the boot to make way for a more useful goal

paint over summer
well 1 year ago

obviously this goal has long gone, but i do hope to carry on painting (did recently buy a ne set of paints) and i am determined that they will not sit unopened indefinately. Just at present I am concentrating on uni work and marathon goals, so dont have as much time for this

run a marathon
quite chuffed 1 year ago

having been cycling everywhere in London (so not really having the time or energy to run) I decided now being back home for the easter break to do a bit of running, and was pleasantly surprised to find I ran farther and for longer than i ever have before, with not really that much effort. It seems cycling for 2hours a day seems to have improved my fitness quite a lot, and I ran for an hour and 10minutes, having previously run for about 40minutes maximum, feeling as though I could have quite happily carried on., only really stopping to make sure I don’t cause an injury and because my trainers which desperately need replacing had given me evil blisters. I now feel as though I could quite easily do a half marathon and my spirits towards doing a full marathon are quite improved. I am now thinking I should be able to run the London marathon 2008 with a decent training schedule, whereas before it seemed like a hugely daunting idea. so quite chuffed!
