i’ve not really ever had a goal to “lose weight”. i’ve been against thinking that way for a long time. but, i’ve gotten to the point where i’m heavier than i’ve ever been and i don’t like it. i’d like to be closer to the weight i’ve been for most of my life. i know that part of my weight gain has come from just not being very mindfull of taking care of myself. i’d feel better about myself if i could be back to the old body that i’ve known.

i brought home willow yesterday. she is a beautiful girl. very pretty and sweet—about six months old, lanky and long, with short gray hair and diffuse caramel/white throughout her coat. i think she has a bit of a cold. we’ll have to look after that and see how it goes.
LOVING this break I am having before I start my new job. It is much needed after all of the intense work i’ve done over the last six years:)
