How I did it: For this Christmas I spent half my time in the kitchen, making all kinds of treats. The other half of the time I spent making and decorating cardboard boxes to hold all these delectable goodies.I could only supply the effort of individual gift boxes to a select few. However this didn't stop me from making more than enough treats and filling up the tupperware for my colleagues at work.People really love the effort too. I … Read how I did it…
How I did it: Once I set aside a time to do it it was really easy. All I ad to do was go to my nearest post office, fill in a form with my details and pay the annual fee... Plain and Simple Read how I did it…
That’s what my gifts were… I baked and made all kinds of christmas goodies to fill handmade (by me) christmas boxes… I still bought some more elaborate gifts for those closest to me. Making christmas gifts however takes a lot of effort and a reasonable chunk of your budget. I really enjoyed being creative and making things and have decided that I will add some handmade christmas decorations to next year’s festivities. I’ve also realised that the stress caused by trying to make everything last minute is really not worth it so I will be working on it much sooner (in fact I’ve already started on next year). Starting early also gives you the opportunity to take advantage of the post-christmas sales on all things christmas.
Well I did my first 5km run without walking in between (I did a 5km run as part of triathlon but didn’t manage to run the whole way)
I finished it in just under 31 minutes. I’d really like to improve and do it under 30 minutes next time. But for now I think I can cross this goal off my list.
Also think I’ll be trying a lot more of these in the future…
Eventually I might even try a 10k
