Here’s a hint for all you laptop owners – don’t let anybody (not even your significant other) put a drink down near your laptop – it really sucks when the inevitable eventually happens.
I was really lucky, and most of the important components seem to have come out of it unscathed, but a bunch of keys are sticking, the trackpad button is pretty dodgy, and the CD/DVD slot seems to be cloged up (there is a DVD in there, and it is working OK, but it won’t eject).
