Bike to work
Untitled 4 years ago

I do it every day- have done for years.

Pays off in spades in weight loss, fitness, reduction in car-related hassle, and contary to popular belief you don’t often get wet riding to work in the uk.

Google on ‘bike to work’, or plenty of material at http://www.ctc.org.uk

In the uk you can get very generous tax breaks if your employer buys you a bike and leases it back to you..no VAT, paid for out of pre-tax income gives you up to 47% off the retial price- add in the benefits of say a three-year repayment scheme and you really are laughing.

fly in a glider

Gliding- go for an aerotow launch rather than a winch launch. You’ll get a higher lift from an aerotow, and a longer flight.

I went a couple of years ago, and it’s a wonderful, spellbinding experience- incredibly quiet and serene. Make sure you get to have a go at flying, it’s not very hard.
