I love spending time in my friend Ted’s apartment in Frankfurt, and I get the feeling that travel for me is nothing compared to actually living in other countries, I like to get into the rhythm of the place and meet people and get to know them, not just pass through and take pictures.

I love to write, and I love to read what other people write. I’d love to have penpals from across town, or Outer Mongolia, or who knows where? Postcards are also a possibility.

I finally am feeling what famous writers say is the only reason to write – because you have to. I subject mailing list friends to all sorts of blather which some have actually complimented, and I think I’d like to try to share it with the world in a published form.
