Serious time has passed without any 43 things action.
But, in summary, books I have read recently include

Books 1-9 of Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse books which I loved.
When Nietzsche Wept – Irvin Yalom. This was a long overdue read.
The Forgotten Garden – Kate Morton. Devoured and loved.
Worls Without End – Ken Follet. Really enjoyed this loooong book.
The Tempest – William Shakespeare. Comfort reading!
When things fall apart – Pema Chodron. This book was lent to me by a patient, I found it so interesting and insightful.

Orlando - Virginia Woolf 3 months ago

First book I’ve read by this author and I enjoyed it. Some of it was over my head and some of it was laugh out loud funny with beautiful descriptions.

Jemima J – Jane Green. Read it in one sitting. Froth pretending to be more substantial but good enough.

Feel the fear..and do it anyway – Susan Jeffers. A re-read with a good friend in mind. Some great ideas, inspirational at times and a book that I’ll continue to recommend to patients.

Spent time with an old school mate and we both enjoy food but tend to cook the same meals over and over.
We’ve decided to get together once a month and cook up a feast to be shared with my hubbie.
