I’m not having much luck keeping up with my expenses. As my boyfriend is helping to support me during my Honours year this year, it’s been confusing and difficult to keep up with what money is going where. I’m half thinking about giving up on this goal. I seem to be doing okay at the moment without keeping track.

I’ve known about FlyLady since 2005, and have been trying to follow the routines off and on. I slacked off big time in 2007 and let everything go but I’m determined to get back on the wagon!
I’m going to try to start slow this time rather than going all gung-ho, and see if maybe I can make it last this time. :)
I’m going to need a plan if I’m going to try to cook dinner almost every night, and that means menu planning. If I don’t plan a menu I don’t have what I need on hand, procrastinate about going to the shops to get what I need, and then either give up and eat something highly sugary with no nutritional value whatsoever or go to the shops hungry and spend a fortune on things that I have no use for. A menu plan means that I have a list of meals that I can cook with ingredients that I have on hand.
I’ve made my menu plan for this week, we’ll see how it goes! :)
